It was purchased for $400.00 in 1980 at an independent Pottery Shop in Mashpee, MA. It's a heavy item and will need to be picked up. It weighs about 30lbs. It's absolutely gorgeous and really makes a dark room light up very beautifully and makes any room feel peaceful, warm, and cozy.
