Waraiya is the direct sales shop of Nikko Ebonite Manufacturing Co., Ltd., the only company in Japan that manufactures ebonite, founded in 1952.

"Natsume" refers to the form of the pen, which has both ends cut off sharply, and is named after the tea ceremony utensil "natsume." "Shinryu" (Divine Dragon) refers to the black base with white and brown marble patterns, and it seems to have been named after the appearance of the white and brown swirling patterns that appear in the jet black.

The body is made of ebonite, and the feel is smooth and fits the skin. Therefore, it doesn't slip. It reduces the burden on the hand and is easy to write with for long periods of time, making it practical. There is no single pattern the same in the color marble ebonite, and each one is a special pen.
