Rare vintage or antique flat metal open one-sided chocolate candy mold featuring four flop-eared seated bunny rabbits with arms folded around their knees. This mold has faint stamps on both long sides and a model number # 8153. One side appears to say, VAN EMDEN CO., NEW YORK. and the other side appears to say Made in Germany. This most likely means the mold was made by Hermann Walter in Berlin, Germany, and imported to and sold in the United States by Van Emden Co. of New York.
Vintage condition with scratches, rust, wear, and discoloration from age, use, and long-term storage. The interior of the four molds is shiny and appears functional. About 4 1/4" tall and 8 3/8" wide. Each candy would be about 3 3/4" tall and 1 3/4" wide at the base. The mold is magnetic and weighs about 12 ounces.
