[Description] This is a rare UK original first pressing of King Crimson's 2nd album, "In the Wake of Poseidon," a cornerstone of progressive rock.

Label: "Pink i" label, used only for a short period at the time of the 1970 release.

Matrix: A//1 / B//1. This is a 1st cutting pressed from the earliest lacquer disc.

Mother/ Stamper:
* Side A: 3 / L (8)
* Side B: 3 / L (8) Based on the EMI press code (GRAMOPHLTD), both sides have very young numbers, mother 3, stamper 8.

Jacket: A gatefold jacket with a textured surface, which was an early specification.

Accessories: Original Island Records inner sleeve (blue print) from the time.

[Condition]

* Vinyl: No noticeable deep scratches visually, and the gloss remains. Sound checked, and you can enjoy the vivid sound pressure unique to matrix 1/1.
* Jacket: Some slight scuffing due to aging, but it is in good condition for a textured jacket of this era.
* Inner sleeve: Fading and wrinkles due to aging. Cellophane tape, presumably to prevent the bottom from splitting, is attached to the bottom.
