About twenty years ago, I received this from an acquaintance who said they no longer needed it.
The P2001 was scheduled to be released as one of DoCoMo/Panasonic's first FOMA mobile phones, but its release was canceled just before launch. This is a prototype display model of that P2001.
As it's a prototype, it's unpainted. It also doesn't have an antenna. A placeholder has been applied to the LCD screen area. Scratches and dirt have accumulated during years of storage. It's lighter than the actual device because it doesn't have any weights inside. The buttons can be pressed, but of course, they don't do anything.
