As the last high-end compact digital camera in Olympus's CAMEDIA 4-digit series, this model is a culmination of past camedia series, representing a highly refined model.

With an 8-megapixel CCD sensor, it covers 28mm to 140mm (35mm equivalent) and features a bright F2.4-3.5 lens, making it a camera with very high descriptive power.

The shooting experience is also excellent, with EVF shooting and a vertical multi-angle LCD, allowing for high and low-angle shots. It starts up in a super-fast 0.7 seconds from power-on, allowing you to respond immediately to subjects and shooting environments.
