The only issue is that the tablet won't have a backlight when powered on. You can still hear sound, but barely see anything on the screen. Sometimes you can't see nothing at all but still hear sound.
It will play just fine in dock mode on the TV. And I can confirmed it will still play cartridge games as well. Basically this Nintendo Switch will only work in Dock Mode, other than that it needs a good repair.
