This is a laserdisc set of the NHK special "Silk Road" (Shidokurodo Shiruku Rōdo), which aired in the 1980s. It includes all 12 episodes of Part 1 and all 18 episodes of Part 2.

I purchased this in 1987 but have hardly watched it, and it has been stored away.

I have no player, so I have not confirmed playback.
