Beautiful Mary Hanson Roberts centaurs - hand-colored print with artist signature. Circa 1996. Print 5 of fifty. Lovely artistic print was matted and sealed with shrink wrap. One inch tear in shrink wrap on lower right side, does not seem to have damaged matte board. It is approximately 10”x12” . Great for a small space.
Definition: Hand-colored Print : the artist prints the “inked “ lines and makes prints. These outlines are then colored by the artist to create the final artwork. No two prints like this are the same.
Signed and numbered : The art has the artist’s signature usually in a inconspicuous place. This is not the same as the artists “finished piece “ marks, usually initials or a symbol. Mary Hanson Roberts Colored this in pencil.
Mary Hanson Roberts is an American author and artist. She is a wonderful person and each piece she touches are like her children. I was lucky enough to get to see this. I’ve not been doing this one justice. Feel free to google her.
