You are buying an autographed New York Mets baseball mini helmet of former outfielder Fernando Tatis Sr. Pictured is the exact helmet you are buying. On the top of the helmet is a plastic static guard, which easily peels off.
Tatis Sr was a top prospect, making his debut with the Texas Rangers, before spending time with the St. Louis Cardinals, Montreal Expos, Baltimore Orioles, and lastly the Mets. On 4/23/99, while with the Cardinals, Tatis became the first & only player in history to hit two grand slams in one inning and have eight RBIs in an inning, doing so against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Fernando is also the father of San Diego Padres Fernando Tatis Jr.
This helmet was acquired from a national auction house and came with an auction house authentication letter from JSA (James Spence Authentication).
