Originally approached by Beatrix Potter herself, John Beswick Pottery began producing figurines of her classic characters in 1940. Sculpted to be meticulously faithful to her illustrations, each was hand painted with details that brought the pages to life.
The most beloved and iconic Peter Rabbit figurine. First version, with dark blue jacket with yellow buttons, was modeled by Arthur Gredington and produced 1948-1980. Approx. 4.5” H. BP-3A backstamp. Made in England. No condition issues.
