I found this Virginia coat button in a Va camp off RT 231 in Madison, Va. Its a field find and it has suffered fertilizer corrosion during its tenure underground. You can see specs of gold gilt in spots. It carries the Horstmann backmark and shank is intact. No pushes on the front. On my profile is an Issacs Campbell strap buckle that came from this same camp.
