Hardcover copy of Athenaeus II: The Learned Banqueters books III.106e-V edited and translated by S. Douglas Olson (Harvard University Press, 2006). Volume number 208 in the Loeb Classical Library series. An interesting snapshot of ancient Greece in these collected writings - text both in original Greek and English translation by Olson, with notes and commentary. Some uneven fading to jacket with shelf wear around the edges. Small blemish to bottom right corner of front cover due to small area of liquid damage. Boards are straight and clean with corners and spine ends slightly bumped. Mildly split binding near beginning and end of book but spine remains straight and binding is quite strong on the whole. All pages are clean and unmarked. See photos for condition.
