This Art Deco sterling silver vanity hair brush dates to the late 1920s–early 1930s and is attributed to the International Silver Company.
The handle is stamped STERLING, preceded by a cursive “F”, which denotes a factory pattern designation used by International Silver to identify a specific design series. This mark is an internal production indicator and is not a personalization or purity mark. Such minimal stamping is consistent with International Silver’s Art Deco-era vanity items.
