40s U.S. NAVY Deck Pants.
This item was worn as a set with the N-1 jacket, which was adopted as cold weather clothing for ship crew members from World War II to the Korean War.

USN stencil on the left chest.
CONTRACT NXsx96660.

The lining is a wool-like liner fabric, and there are many moth-eaten areas.

The zipper is a U-shaped TALON.

Because of the lining, it's a unique item for winter.
